Situated in the province of Huelva, in the far west of Andalucia and bordering Portugal, Golf el Rompido is integrated into the surrounding natural landscape.

Golf el Rompido is the only 36-hole facilitiy in the region. Its two 18-hole courses (North and South), surrounded by pine trees and orange groves, traverse the Marismas or marshes and make their way towards the Atlantic Ocean, providing spectacular views.

Both of the courses, created by prestigious Spanish designer Alvaro Arana, represent a concept where the fundamental objective is respect for the environment. A total absence of buildings throughout the golf course means that nature is the centre of attention on the courses.

The South Course borders the clubhouse and is divided into two 9s of very different characteristics in terms of landscape. Pine wood, olive trees and marsh land are all part of the course layout.
