The South Course at La Manga is one of Spain’s best and has hosted top events such as the Spanish Open and European Tour Q-School.

The South course is reasonably open and flat, with most golfers choosing to walk rather than take buggies. Palms line the fairways and water features on no less than 15 holes, but the bunkers may prove the greatest test on tee-shots and approach play.

The front nine is the longer of the two with both par-threes over 200 metres in length from the back tees.
