Los Lagos opened in 1976 and is the older of the two Mijas courses. The layout features nine lakes, with wide fairways and large greens.

The course pays homage to the Robert Trent Jones’s philosophy "difficult Par, easy Bogey".

Mijas Golf is located in the golfing valley of Malaga and just 20 minutes from Malaga Airport.
