Par: 72 Length: 7220 yards Course designer: Carr, Kirby, Hackett, Merrigan

The Old Head of Kinsale is a remarkably dramatic piece of Ireland, protruding over two miles into the Atlantic Ocean. Nine holes play along the cliff tops, and all eighteen holes provide stunning ocean views.
The 360-degree vistas will distract you, but do not relax too much as the ever-changing sea breezes will challenge you at every turn of this incredible par-72 layout.
Head out of Kinsale by following the signs for Bandon / Garrettstown until you come to the bridge. Cross the bridge following the road around to the right (Old Head is sign posted from here). Exactly 2 miles after the bridge, turn left at the junction. Follow this road for another 3½ miles until you reach the Speckled Door Pub. Head straight on for 1 mile. This will bring you to the gates of Old Head Golf Links. |
