"18 of the best shaped putting surfaces seen since God had a hand in building Prestwick" - Golf Monthly
Powerscourt Golf Club, designed by Walker Cup player and captain Peter McEvoy, is situated in the grounds of the Powerscourt Estate in Co Wicklow.
Opened in 1996 the Powerscourt East course quickly gained a reputation as one of the finest golf courses in Ireland. Just 2 years after opening, it hosted the Smurfit Irish PGA championship and the AIB European Senior Tour.
A parkland course with both moorland and links characteristics, Powerscourt has some great views of the surrounding hills and valleys that define the County of Wicklow as the Garden of Ireland.
