Punta Blanca runs through natural wetlands, large waste areas and lakes surrounded by tropical vegetation.

Three-time major winner Nick Price has designed the course so that each hole can be played in a variety of different ways and by players of all abilities. Holes 13 and 15, both par threes, are particularly challenging, with the wetlands coming into play.

Elsewhere on the course missing the fairways isn’t overly punitive, as the first cut of rough is not severe. Drift too far wide though and the wetlands and jungle await!
