Royal Chiang Mai is set in a former fruit orchard in the foothills of Northern Thailand with panoramic vistas of the surrounding mountains. It was designed by five-time Open Champion Peter Thomson and fittingly contains many links-style elements, such as gently-rolling fairways, pot bunkers and closely-mowed areas around the greens.
