Lahinch Old Course is a classic links sometimes referred to as “the St Andrews of Ireland”. It has evolved over more than 100 years, with the original course laid out in 1895 by the legendary Old Tom Morris before a succession of modernisations by architects including Augusta creator Alistair MacKenzie.
Lahinch snakes through the sand dunes with subtly contoured greens rolling with the natural fall of the land. A bracing Atlantic breeze usually adds to the challenge and fun.
Lahinch is home to the oldest Provincial championship in Ireland, the South of Ireland Amateur Open Championship, whose past winners and finalists include Padraig Harrington, Darren Clarke, Paul McGinley and Graham McDowell.

Adare Manor Golf Course is a favourite of Tiger Woods and one of the finest courses in Ireland.
Legendary architect Robert Trent Jones Sr designed the course which features rock-walled streams and subtle undulating putting surfaces with the Jones signature clover leaf bunkers. A 14-acre lake dominates the front nine holes while the back nine is routed through wooded land. The River Maigue meanders through the course adding beauty and challenge.
Adare Manor is the venue for a bi-annual charity pro-am hosted by J.P McManus featuring many top professionals such as Tiger, Padraig, Ernie and Michael Campbell.

"Having played the Old Course in Ballybunion many times since my first visit in 1981, I am now of the opinion it is one of the best and most beautiful tests of links golf anywhere in the world." Tom Watson - 5 time British Open Winner
Ballybunion is one of the great Irish links courses, expertly maintained with a fair and challenging design on the North West Coast of Co. Kerry.
There are a broad array of shots required with holes having uphill, downhill and side hill lies on the fairways and large sloping greens. The 11th is one of the signature holes, a 446 yard par 4 perched on the cliffs – not for the fainthearted!
Opened in October 1984, Tralee Golf Course was the first European golf course designed by Arnold Palmer. When he first saw the area upon which his company was to build Tralee golf links, he was ecstatic about the possibilities. "I have never come across a piece of land so ideally suited for the building of a golf course," he said.
He later said of his work, “I may have designed the front 9, but surely God designed the back 9.”
Follow signs from Tralee towards Fenit. After about 3 miles you will pass the Oyster Tavern on your right. About 1/2 mile later there is a fork to your right to Churchill. From there on it is straight to Barrow and Tralee Golf Club.

The flagship of the three courses at Killarney Golf Club, Killeen is firmly established as a traditional inland masterpiece, surrounded by the lakes of Killarney and some of Ireland's finest scenery.
The course is challenging to the best golfers with tight, tree-lined fairways, water featuring on nearly every hole and fast greens. At the Irish Open in 1991 winner Nick Faldo was one of only three players to finish under par.
Waterville Golf Club was founded in 1889 and is still one of the longest Championship courses in Europe off the back tees, some (tees) of which measure up to 175 yards! The classic course is surrounded scenically by the Atlantic Ocean and Kerry Mountains.
An indication of the quality of this course is that Tiger Woods and friends usually come here to practice before the British Open each year!
The Old Head of Kinsale is a remarkably dramatic piece of Ireland, protruding over two miles into the Atlantic Ocean. Nine holes play along the cliff tops, and all eighteen holes provide stunning ocean views.
The 360-degree vistas will distract you, but do not relax too much as the ever-changing sea breezes will challenge you at every turn of this incredible par-72 layout.
Head out of Kinsale by following the signs for Bandon / Garrettstown until you come to the bridge. Cross the bridge following the road around to the right (Old Head is sign posted from here). Exactly 2 miles after the bridge, turn left at the junction. Follow this road for another 3½ miles until you reach the Speckled Door Pub. Head straight on for 1 mile. This will bring you to the gates of Old Head Golf Links.
