Tour Details
The AscotGolf.com Scotland Coast to Coast Tour commences at Turnberry, scene of Stewart Cink’s Open victory over Tom Watson in 2009, overlooking the wonderful Ailsa Craig and Irish Sea. Turnberry is easily accessible through Glasgow Prestwick Airport (30 miles), or Glasgow International Airport (70 miles).
Prestwick Golf Club is just a short transfer from Turnberry in your luxury coach, to visit the course where The Open originated and where it was staged for the first 13 years.
Nearby Prestwick are two links course in Classic Scottish style – Western Gailes, frequently used as a qualifying venue for the Open, and Open venue Royal Troon.
From there we take your group east through Scotland’s beautiful heartland to the twin delights of Gullane and North Berwick, both Open qualifying venues and great tests of links golf along the picturesque Firth of Forth coast. Edinburgh Airport is just a short drive, to the north side of Edinburgh.
