PGA National Resort and Spa offers a world class golf facility with no less than 5 award winning golf courses designed by Nicklaus, Palmer, the Fazios and Karl Litten.
The signature “Champion Course” at PGA National Resort & Spa — plays host to the PGA Tour Honda Classic and features the renowned “Bear Trap” — a series of three demanding holes that are often considered the toughest stretch in golf. The Champion Course also hosted the Ryder Cup in 1983. The Haig, Palmer, Squire and Estate complete a mouth-watering line-up for any golfer.
Long renowned as a legendary golf destination, the PGA National Resort and Spa has recently stepped up its game with a $65 million facelift completed in 2009. The resort-wide renovation includes a new front entrance, outdoor pool and pavilion as well as enhanced public areas, restaurants, golf courses and landscaping.
Leisure facilities at PGA National Resort include a 40,000 square foot European Spa with 32 treatments areas and the exclusive "Waters of the World" outdoor mineral pools, a world-class 33,000 square-foot health and racquet club with 19 Har Tru tennis courts and seven on-site restaurants and lounges.
Guestrooms feature marble foyers and private balconies or terraces, as well as two-bedroom Club Cottages.
PGA Resort & Spa was awarded "America's Best Resort Courses" by Golf-week in 2010.

Guest Rooms
Resort Room (392² ft): Featuring a King or 2 full size beds, a sitting area, a marble bathroom and a private furnished balcony or terrace with views of the resort gardens. Amenities include an iPod dock/clock radio, bathrobes, hair dryer, laptop safe, coffee maker and mini refrigerator. The Resort Room may connect to another Resort or a Junior Suite.
Deluxe Room (392² ft): Enjoy an expansive golf course, spa or garden view from your private, furnished balcony or terrace. Deluxe Rooms may connect to another Deluxe Room or Deluxe Junior Suite.
Premium Pool View Room (392² ft): Enjoy stunning pool and lake views from the balcony or terrace. Premium Pool View Rooms may connect to another Pool View Room or Pool View Junior Suite.
Junior Suite, Deluxe Junior Suite & Premium Pool View Junior Suite (429² ft): offering two sets of sliding doors to the large private, furnished balcony or terrace overlooking the resort gardens, golf course (Deluxe) or pool & lake (Premium Pool). All Junior Suite categories features a living area with a sofa-bed and dining table.
PGA & Legends Suites (1017² ft): These one-bedroom luxury suites feature three balconies and views of the Fazio driving range. With an elegant sitting area and a living room equipped with a pool table, you’ll find these suites perfect for entertaining.
Presidential Suite (1443² ft): The luxury hotel suites balance ample space for entertaining with private master bedrooms. Bonus: Presidential Suite guests enjoy a panorama view of The Champion’s 18th hole, plus two private balconies from which to appreciate it.
Media Suite (450² ft): The PGA National Resort Media Suite was designed with high-tech relaxation in mind. The living room invites with a relaxing sectional sofa and two 55-inch LCD HD TVs. (You’ll find a third flat-screen in the bedroom.)
SPA Suites (429² ft): These luxury suites suggest utter relaxation via a calming palette, upholstered head and footboard on the luxurious king-size bed, oversized soaking tub and balcony (or terrace). Perhaps the ultimate feature is the private spa area, ready to host your in-room spa services.
Club Cottages: Tucked into a secluded corner of the resort, these golf vacation villas offer all the comforts of home – privacy, generous space, a fully-equipped kitchen and outdoor patio – with the amenities of a resort: easy access to PGA National Resort & Spa, housekeeping and room service.

The PGA National Resort & Spa dining experience offers seven onsite restaurants and lounges—from Ironwood Grille’s fine steaks and fresh seafood, to the iBAR’s drinks and light fare, to the crisp cuisine of the poolside Wave Bar and Grill.
The Ironwood Grille at the newly reinvented PGA National Resort & Spa, offers a contemporary American grille with a fresh and unexpected approach to classic recipes. Fresh off a complete transformation, Ironwood Grille radiates elegance and sophistication. The Grille’s wine cellar, boasts a collection of over 350, top-shelf wine selections.
iBAR at PGA National Resort & Spa: PGA National’s iBAR, adjacent to the Ironwoode Grille, is a savvy and sexy waterhole for guests and locals alike. iBAR is a chic and sophisticated bat. Lunch: The house favorite is the PGA Slider Trio ($14) – mini burgers made with pulled pork, beef medallion and crab cakes, all served on brioche buns. Signature spirits: iFLIGHTS – take off with these incredible pairings of wines straight from the PGA National list of tour player favorites. Music and more: A DJ spins on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The Bear Trap Bar & Grill - Named after three of the toughest holes in golf, this welcoming sports bar features all-American cuisine and 11 different beers on tap. Catch all of the sporting events on one of 10 TVs while surrounded by photographs and memorabilia from past PGA Championships.
Waters of the World Café – Located at the Spa’s Waters of the World, the Café is the perfect place for a refreshing outdoor luncheon, snack or beverage while relaxing by the pools.
19th Hole - Casual lounge overlooking the practice greens, serving light lunches.
Citrus Tree - A spacious and tropical poolside indoor /outdoor café serving breakfast and lunch daily and featuring the chef ’s special spa cuisine menu.
Hall of Fame Lounge – Fronting Shula’s steakhouse, this is a perfect place to unwind and enjoy nightly entertainment while reminiscing about Coach Shula’s Perfect ’72 Season… or your own perfect round of golf.

Leisure Facilities
With the headquarters of the Professional Golfers Association of America (PGA) on the property, golf is a signature element of the Resort. Now home to the PGA Tour's Honda Classic, the Resort has a distinguished history of tournament play, including over 19 major PGA tournament events, the 1983 Ryder Cup and numerous other national and international tournaments, all on its famed Champion Course.

The PGA National Resort and Spa is located in the active and upscale community of Palm Beach Gardens, in north Palm Beach County. The leisure resort is the centrepiece of the 2,400-acre residential community of PGA National.
PGA National Resort and Spa is two miles west of I-95, a quarter mile west of the Florida Turnpike and within 20 minutes of Palm Beach International Airport, 40 minutes from Fort Lauderdale International Airport, 90 minutes from Miami International Airport.
Shopping / Attractions
There is a variety of boutiques and sundry shops at the PGA National Resort.
The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, Ballet Florida, and Palm Beach Opera are all located nearby.
