Indian Canyons Golf Resort has been a jewel of Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley since 1961. Once a private club named Canyon Country Club, this 36-hole facility was a favorite haunt of Hollywood celebrities like Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, and Jackie Gleason. Former U.S. Presidents Dwight D. Eisenhower, Lyndon B. Johnson and Ronald Reagan also walked these fairways. The 2 golf courses are set on 550 acres of Native American tribal property.
The South Course, remodelled in 2004, is a scenic course featuring four ponds, 850 palm trees and 500 Washingtonia Filifera cherished trees of the Agua Caliente Native American tribe.
Indian Canyons is located 20 minutes from Palm Springs International Airport and only 10 minutes south from downtown Palm Springs. Following a round, golfers can enjoy dinner and drinks in the South clubhouse while enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding San Jacinto mountains.
Indian Canyons Golf Resort is owned and managed by the Agua Caliente Band Of Cahuilla Indians.
