"I have played most of the major championship courses in the world and none betters the Ring of Kerry" - Philip Walton, former Ryder Cup player
The Ring of Kerry is a spectacular golfing challenge with panoramic views across Kenmare Bay and Kerry mountains. It has been voted 2nd in the “Ten of the best views in British Isles golf”.
It is by definition a parkland course but contains many characteristics of links golf with firm turf and rolling fairways often lined with gorse.
Located in the village of Templenoe, 4 miles from the town of Kenmare on the N70 "Ring of Kerry". Approaching from the N22 Cork/Killarney road, take the R569 in the direction of Kilgarvan and continue on to Kenmare. Proceed through Kenmare and turn left on to the N70. |
