Sinbad's Kids Club

Sinbad’s Kids Club caters for children from 2-17 years old on a complimentary basis for all the hotel guests. The children are divided in to three groups according to their age; 2-4, 5-10 and 11-17 years old and facilitate different activities every day.

Children in the 2-4 age group can be left unaccompanied at Sinbad’s for one of the three complimentary sessions per day. Activity sessions for this group are; morning session (8:00am-12:00 noon), afternoon session (2:00pm-5:00pm) or evening session (6:00pm-8:00pm). Each session is fully supervised by Sinbad’s Kids Club colleagues leading the children through different activities and games. If a second session is required during the day, the child would need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian or booked in with a babysitter. Children in the 5-10 age group can be left in Sinbad’s unaccompanied to take part in the scheduled activities anytime from 8:00am until 8:00pm. A special activity program for teens (11-17) is run which includes daily football, wall climbing and table tennis.

Sinbad’s Kids Club offers outdoor kids swimming pool with water slide, water sprinklers and fountains, the pool is supervised by lifeguards from 9:00am to 7:00pm. Sinbad’s Kids Club also has an indoor play area, computer games and play stations for all age groups. The play attendants facilitate indoor and outdoor activities for the children throughout the day and ensure safety at all times.

Whether it’s splashing around, experiencing the Atomic Rush, face painting, playing sports, watching movies or doing crafts, children will have a fun time throughout the day at Sinbad’s Kids Club. With over 1,000 square metres of play areas and pools, it is a dream world for children.

Located Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Sinbad’s Kids Club is open daily 8am to 10pm. Children under 4 should be collected at 12noon. Alternatively, book in with the childcare and babysitting service (upon request).

Emirates Majlis

The Desert Miracle was the name given to Emirates Golf Club when it became the first all-grass championship golf course in the Gulf region, way back in 1988. At Emirates Majlis lush, rolling fairways lead to large fast greens with the surrounding desert meaning you’ll have plenty of chances to practise your sand play. Water comes into play on many holes including the testing par-three 7th, with its long carry, and the thrilling par-five 18th, where the approach comes in across a lake to a long, thin green in the shape of a bow tie. Emirates Majlis is host to the Dubai Desert Classic whose former winners include Tiger Woods. The design of the clubhouse reflects a Bedouin tented village with seven gleaming white concrete and glass structures, complemented by the off-course areas where desert flora and fauna flourish.

Jumeirah - Earth Course

Jumeirah Golf Estates is home to Dubai’s most desirable residences and golf’s most prestigious destination. With World-Class Championship Courses and luxurious homes, Jumeirah Golf Estates sets a new standard in residential golf developments. Jumeirah Golf Estates has brought together four legends of the game of golf Greg Norman (Earth, Fire & Wind), Vijay Singh (Water), Pete Dye (Wind) and Sergio Garcia (Wind). Their unmatched understanding of what makes an exceptional sporting venue has enabled them to design four incomparable golf experiences in Dubai. The Earth course was the host of the inaugural Dubai World Championship in 2009 (Race to Dubai). The Earth Course was inspired by the great parklands of Europe and North America. Dubai Creek

Dubai Creek is a memorable journey from the first tee to the 18th green with superbly manicured, undulating fairways fringed with water and dotted with date and palm trees. Multiple tees ensure golfers of all calibres enjoy the course. While length of the tee helps, the premium is certainly on accuracy, especially with the approach shots as most of the greens are multi-tiered with subtle borrows. Dubai Creek’s 18th in particular requires intelligent play on every shot. There is water on the left and a long bunker on the right, beyond which is water again. A good drive will still leave you with a long iron into the tiered and sloping green, guarded by more water. Dubai Creek also features a par-three course, a driving range and practice facilities, all of which are all floodlit to allow play late into the night.

Jumeirah - Fire Course

Par: 72 Length: 7433 yards Course designer: Greg Norman

Emirates Faldo

The Faldo Course at Emirates Golf Club was redesigned by multiple major champion Nick Faldo in 2006 to offer a true test of golf to the best players. One of the main themes of Faldo’s design is dramatic bunkering. Another unique design aspect is the “wadi” (from the Arabic word valley) that stretches the length of the course, adding extra character. Indigenous Gaff trees are dotted alongside the fairways - and in some cases on the fairways! Although the course is long and requires powerful play, there are also great rewards for those who think their way around, in true Faldo style!

Dubai Hills Golf

Dubai Hills Golf is a new championship golf course and centrepiece of a prestigious lifestyle community set in the heart of Dubai. As well as the golf course the development plan includes a variety of residential villas, high-end shopping, fine dining, world-class hotels, and health and educational facilities. The Course Carved out of the sandy desert Dubai Hills was designed with playability in mind and features wide contoured fairways and large undulating greens. The course design utilises the numerous valleys and lakes that were created along with bold bunkering to add a degree of challenge and drama.
