The hotel is part of the Oliva Nova Golf Resort which features an 18-hole championship course designed by the Spanish maestro himself, Seve Ballesteros, and regularly plays host to European Tour qualifying.

Columbus: The Columbus restaurant is located in the main building of the Oliva Nova Golf and Beach Hotel. Choose from international haute cuisine or Spanish regional dishes. Don't miss the Mediterranean cuisine with its fresh fish and shellfish, which are carefully prepared using traditional recipes. The wine cellar boasts a wide range from Spain and abroad.

El Olivo: A cheerful and spacious restaurant by the pool. Ideal place for small or private celebrations. Mediterranean cuisine using local traditional produce. Also has a wide and excellent selection of wines.

La Pergola: Buffet dinners in an exclusive atmosphere by the hotel. An all round culinary experience to enjoy whilst feeling the breeze of the sea.

Leisure Facilities

The Oliva Nova Golf and Beach Hotel features a fitness room with state-of-the-art "Technogym" machines, as well as personalised professional advice.

Very close to the hotel there are also two artificial lawn tennis courts, as well as paddle tennis courts. Football pitches are also available for those who wish to organise a game.

Spa The relaxing spa has eternity pool with water jets and fountain, integrated Jacuzzi, Finnish sauna, Turkish bath with added aromatic herbs, solarium and relaxation room with therapeutic music.

Watersports can be enjoyed in the crystal-clear waters off the beach which has been awarded a Blue Flag by the European Community. Activities include kitesurfing, windsurfing, kayak surfing, waterskiing, beach volley ball, diving and sailing.

Kids A special club lets children play and join in with the games specially designed for them. There are workshops, games, competitions, story telling, gymkhanas and mini-disco.

Travel/Weather

From Valencia, take the A-7 highway until exit 6.1 for Oliva Pego. The N-332 road towards Alicante, will then lead you to the town of Oliva.

A further 4 km is the turn-off for the Oliva Nova Golf residential estate.

Designed and built by Seve Ballesteros, the Oliva Nova Golf Club course winds gently through lush terrain on the Mediterranean coast. Fifteen holes include water obstacles, with only numbers 2, 13 and 14 water-free. This is a technical course over gently undulating ground. The “amen corner” of the course is at the 13th, 14th and 15th holes, where strategy and the wind are determining factors. The course record of 63 is held by Ryder Cup star Miguel Angel Jimenez! "This course offers great possibilities to all golfers, as it has short, medium and long holes, and fairways with left and right doglegs. I think it poses a challenge to any golfer." – Seve Ballesteros.

Font del Llop

Par: 72 Length: 5848m Course designer: Blake Stirling and Marco Martin

Font del Llop is located just 10 minutes from Alicante Airport, surrounded by vineyards, almond trees and millenary olive trees. Font del Llop is totally integrated with the local landscape with natural valleys and a small river connecting five lakes. Font del Llop is American designed with Scottish type layout. Definitely a golf course to be enjoyed right in the heart of the Costa Blanca.

La Sella

Par: 72 Length: 6595 yards Course designer: Jose Maria Olazabal

The Resort has the 27-hole golf course La Sella Golf (27 holes), designed by José María Olazábal is located within a 2-minute walk from the hotel reception at Marriott Denia La Sella. La Sella Golf course is surrounded by the Montgó Natural Park and it is divided into 3 rounds of 9 holes. LLEBEIG This part of the course, surrounded by huge amounts of pines, is characterised by a scenic beauty with spectacular views of the Montgó Natural Park. Technically difficult, it is a very varied round where the player will have to use almost all the golf clubs. GREGAL Located on a flatter terrain, this part of the course has more areas of water and an ending part of the round designed to be decisive for the score. MESTRAL There are new par-three holes (3, 4, and 5) located in a higher area and with a view of the sea, the Segaria mountain and the Montgó Natural Park. This round, which has wider fairways and broad greens, is designed to enjoy golf in the heart of nature.

El Saler

El Saler golf course is ranked within the Top 100 courses in the world and within the Top 10 in mainland Europe. Built in 1968 by the internationally recognized "architect of Spanish golf," Javier Arana, the course is located at the El Saler Nature Reserve, on the shores of the Mediterranean. The course's design took into account its integration in the protected landscape. The course layout is varied, ranging from the beach links reminiscent of the famous Scottish golf courses, to areas of typical Mediterranean forest. El Saler Golf club also offers a golf school; driving range; putting greens; 2 approach greens; a pro-shop; rental of clubs, hand carts and electric golf carts; and a restaurant and snack bar.

La Galiana

La Galiana is located in a countryside mountain and valley and within a perfectly preserved Mediterranean forest. The wide presence of different types of pine trees as well as a large collection of shrub species, makes the environment a natural refuge for a large number of animals, birds and even some types of amphibians! With many great holes at La Galiana, combine it with El Saler and Oliva Nova for a fantastic golfing experience on the Costa Blanca.
