Costa de la Luz Huelva Golf Courses - Melia Atlantico Isla Canela

Castro Marim calls for careful play with water and other hazards to negotiate. The par-3 17th is a hole that calls for special attention, with bunkers in front of the green, a lake behind and wind frequently blowing in off the sea!

The fairways are wide and fair, but the prevailing wind off the Guadiana river adds an extra level of difficulty to the layout.

Just 2 kilometres from the highway connecting directly with Seville and Portugal (A-49). Isla Canela Links Golf Club is part of the Costa Esuri Urbanization, in the city of Ayamonte.

Isla Canela’s proximity to the sea and its lush vegetation make it a wonderful place for a great round of golf.

The course is considered to be one of the best courses in Spain, famous for its variety of orange, olive and eucalyptus trees situated at strategic points around the course.

The saltwater lakes surrounding some of the holes are also spectacular. The par-5 2nd, surrounded by water and deep bunkers, deserves a special mention for its beauty and level of difficulty.

Islantilla golf course is the most established in the Huelva region and features picturesque views over the Atlantic Ocean.

The layout features three challenging and varied nines including play overlooking the beach and cliff tops, as well as lush parkland surrounded by pine trees.

Islantilla hosted the 1995 Turespana Open won by Alex Cejka, as well as various Challenge Tour events including the APG of Spain.

The new Quinta do Vale golf course was designed by golfing legend Seve Ballesteros. The course sits in a valley on the Eastern Algarve by the landmark bridge that spans the river Guadiana and neighbouring Spain.

Players of all levels will be challenged by Seve´s creative design at Quinta do Vale. There are numerous doglegs, wide fairways and natural obstacles. The 18 holes feature six par-fives, six par-fours and six par-threes.
