Six of the holes run right along the ocean, with the turquoise waters tempting your ball towards them. Highlight of the round is undoubtedly the 18th, where your drive must negotiate a spectacular carry over the Bay of Corales.

La Cana Golf Course at Punta Cana Resort and Club offers a links golf experience, with ocean holes, island greens, wide fairways, pot bunkers and waste areas, and challenging coastal winds.

Punta Espada Golf Course is a modern championship course designed by the great Jack Nicklaus to incorporate the natural features of the landscape into its topography - the bluffs, beach, waterways and foliage.

Eight of Punta Espada’s holes play alongside the Caribbean, with stunning views and more than three miles of white-sand beaches. The signature hole, if you had to pick just one, is the 13th, a 249-yard par-three that plays directly over the sea (with a bail-out area to the right).

Punta Espada plays host to legends of the game each March for the Champions Tour’s Cap Cana Championship.
