In a magical site set among several lakes, the architect Bill Baker has created this championship course, which is nevertheless accessible to all, thanks to its huge greens.

With seven lakes and a plethora of bunkers, the second 9 holes in particular of Amirauté make for a memorable challenge, especially when the Atlantic winds picks up!

Golf Barriere de Deauville is a highly rated among the elite courses in France.
Set on the hills of Mount Cainsy, Golf Barriere de Deauville provides a perfect setting with panoramic views over Deauville and the Channel and on holes 14 and 15 over the Touques and Auge Valley.
The three 9’s fit well together, with good width fairways, fearsome greenside bunkering, no water and lightly tree-lined fairways giving a reasonably open feel.

Golf Barriere de Saint-Julien is superbly located in the heart of the Pays d'Auge, just 15 km from Deauville. Set within a listed 90-hectare park, this 27-hole facility offers a most relaxing round deep in Normandy countryside.
The golf club became part of the Groupe Lucien Barriere in 2001, offering an excellent alternative and variety for guests at Hotel du Golf Barriere in Deauville.

The 27 holes of the Deauville St-Gatien Golf Course offer a sweet mix of calm and space.
On the 9-holes of « La Vallée », you dive towards the estuary of the river Seine to abandon yourself in the Barneville forest and its smell of wood that follows you from hole to hole.
These 9 holes require for the golfers accuracy and a strong technical knowledge to handle heights difference, forest, obstacles and natural water. The path through holes 2,3 and 4, that our golfers call the “Amen Corner” in reference to the Augusta National, remains the most difficult part to play.
On the course of « La Bergerie », you walk through flowered rough and large fir-trees. The design is different than the curves of “La Vallée” and looks more classic, but isn’t less technical. Each golf stroke requires accuracy, length and after each Drive comes a creative golf stroke.
Like a good wine, the golf course of « La Chapelle » only becomes better through time. Its design is probably the more complex of all 3 courses and requires a variety of strokes that make golf so charming. Holes 1,2,3 from which you can see horses, caws and cereal fields, will remind you that you are in Normandy. But you will need all your focus to avoid fir trees, ponds and bunkers and reach the well guarded Greens.
Omaha Beach golf has 2 courses, each with 18 holes with different landscapes between land and sea.
You will be charmed by course “La Mer” overlooking the sea and Port en Bessin fishing village.
The view from the 6th Hole is spectacular. The golf course designer Yves Bureau balanced the green on the edge of cliffs overlooking the town and harbour of Port-en-Bessin while offering a superb view over reminders of the D-Day Landings - the artificial port at Arromanche s and the artillery bunkers at Longues-sur-Mer.
As part of the D-Day 50th Anniversary each of the Course's holes were renamed in homage to the leaders of that memorial event - 1st General D. Eisenhower - 2nd Sir W.Churchill - 3rd General Charles De Gaulle.
