The Fairmont Acapulco Princess hotel is set amongst 480 acres of tropical vegetation and overlooking the ever popular Revolcadero Beach, 20-minutes from the bustle of downtown Acapulco and just 10 minutes from Acapulco airport.

The Fairmont Princess is dramatic and energising in design, a 15-storey Aztec pyramid-shaped building, with gardens, pools and two golf courses. The reception is housed in an open-air lobby flanked by fountains, where there is also a lively bar.

Outside, five free-form swimming pools – one a saltwater lagoon – grace the property, surrounded by gardens containing more than 750 plant species and sheltering a colourful assortment of swans, flamingos and tropical birds.

The hotel’s range of bars and restaurants allow for al fresco dining in beautiful settings looking out over the beach and ocean. The famed Willow Stream Spa is the perfect place to rest those weary feet after a rewarding day’s golf on top courses such as the hotel’s own two championship courses and the championship links challenge of Tres Vidas.

The Fairmont Acapulco Princess boasts 1017 luxurious rooms and suites located in three spectacular Aztec-inspired buildings.

Fairmont Room (485 ft² / 45m²). One King or two Double (twin) beds. Spacious Fairmont rooms enjoy views of Tropical Gardens, Golf Course or Partial Ocean with private terrace or balcony. Fairmont rooms have a casual tropical decor with large walk-in closets. Rooms can accommodate up to four people and provide space for a crib or rollaway bed.

Deluxe Ocean View / Ocean Front Room (485 ft² / 45m²). One King or two Double beds, elegantly furnished. Deluxe Rooms offer Partial Ocean Views or Full Ocean Views with panoramic views of the pools, beach and Pacific Ocean. These rooms can accommodate a maximum of four people and provide space for a crib or rollaway bed.

Junior Suite Ocean View / Ocean Front (565 ft² / 54m²) Exceptionally spacious corner rooms. Junior Suites have a casual tropical decor with marble floors, attractive scatter rugs and incorporate separate dining and sitting areas within the room. Wrap around terrace, ideal for sunbathing, en-suite dining or just relaxing overlooking the spectacular panoramic vistas of the tropical landscaped grounds, beach and ocean. Junior Suites easily accommodate up to two adults and one child and provide space for a crib or rollaway bed, connecting to Fairmont Rooms (optional).

One Bedroom Suite / Oceanfront Suite (1,045 ft² / 98m²) offer bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a comfortable and spacious dining area for four, two sofas, large-screen television, coffee table and refrigerator. The suite has a large wraparound terrace and can accommodate a maximum of four people.

Pacific One Bedroom Suite (1,045 ft² / 98m²) Richly appointed and generously sized suites located directly overlooking the golden beach and the blue Pacific Ocean. Pacific Suites are tastefully furnished with a stylish California-Mexican decor.

Junior Penthouse Suite (1,310 ft² / 128m²). Distinctly and tastefully decorated, the Junior Penthouse Suites are located on the corners of the higher floors of the Pyramid and Marquesa towers. These richly appointed and generously sized suites have superb views of the resort's tropical grounds and the Pacific Ocean. The spacious and luxurious marble floored living room has a seating area with two sofas and a large-screen television, a private dining area for four, a refrigerator and an oversized wraparound terrace ideal for sunbathing, en-suite dining or just relaxing. Junior Penthouse Suites have a foyer with a powder room, ideal for entertaining guests. Junior Penthouse Suites connect to Fairmont Ocean View rooms.

One / Two Bedroom Penthouse Suite (1,375 ft² / 2,550 ft² / 132m² / 220m²).The most luxurious accommodation at The Fairmont Acapulco Princess. Elegantly and tastefully decorated, the Penthouse Suite consists of a comfortable and spacious separate bedroom, extravagantly fitted en-suite bathroom and a private terrace. The luxurious living room features a plush sofa seating area, a dining table, fully equipped kitchenette and a wet bar with refrigerator. Pacific Ocean or tropical garden view.

La Hacienda The signature restaurant at the Fairmont Princess, contemporary Mexican cuisine. The surroundings are authentically Mexican colonial - the restaurant is in fact a free standing house that was once truly a Hacienda - with carved wood and stone accents.

Chula Vista Perched on the edge of the salt-water lagoon, this Chula offers al-fresco international buffet cuisine in an agreeable, tropical atmosphere. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner with live music at dinner.

La Posadita Enjoy this relaxing, spacious restaurant facing the beach. Feast on an extravagant breakfast buffet or drift in at leisure to try the extensive luncheon menu featuring ocean fresh fish and seafood specialities. A casual open air setting with a privileged view of the sea and the swimming pools. Open for special events and during the peak season only.

Veranda Restaurant provides a menu of authentic Italian specialities with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. Soft pastel toned table linen and candlelight add to a welcoming and romantic ambience.

Café Los Angeles A splendid café next to the lobby with small tables near the tropical garden; enjoy a vast array of Mexican and international gourmet coffees, delicious muffins and croissants.

Beach Club Restaurant & Bar Nestled between two of the property's five pools and overlooking Revolcadero Beach, this popular venue offers casual open air dining in a stunning setting. Featuring fresh seafood specialities, Caribbean-style meats and poultry, and lighter fare like mouth-watering burgers and sandwiches. Cocktails and aperitifs can be enjoyed on the terraced palapa and bar whilst watching vivid sunsets.

The Fairmont Princess Golf Course is a pleasant and enjoyable resort course with some narrow fairways, lined by coconut palms and water hazards on 12 of the 18 holes, and also several out-of bounds areas. No.18 is the signature hole, a dog-leg par-4 around a large lake, leaving a second shot with a backdrop of the unique architecture of the Fairmont Princess Hotel.
