Sol Y Sombra – Serving salads, sandwiches and snacks Sol Y Sombra is located by the pool, overlooking the 18th green of the North Course. Open during summer months only.

Bar No. 37 – Located in the Clubhouse guests can enjoy breakfast or a light lunch whilst taking in the outstanding golf views.

Deli Cafe - The terrace at the Deli Café is a great spot for breakfast or a sandwich, with fine resort views. Guests can also buy essential groceries here and it is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Tie Break - After a demanding workout or game of tennis, what better than a fresh fruit juice, revitalising snack or a light meal on the terrace overlooking the Tennis Centre.

Mulligan’s - This traditional pub boasts a giant screen TV offering the best live coverage of all top sporting events, as well as typical pub games and is located at la Plaza.

Piano Bar - Spacious and modern with a seated lounge area, the hotel's Piano Bar offers a fresh and inviting atmosphere with live entertainment. Open nightly from 7pm.

Local Area

The La Manga complex offers 20 bars and restaurants where you can enjoy all kinds of cuisine, shops, boutiques, casino, banks, petrol station, chemist's, children's club, gymnasium, swimming pools, beach, babysitting service, discotheque, La Manga Spa and cashpoint machines. There are three golf courses, 28 tennis courts, football, horse-riding and the chance to enjoy all kinds of water sports.

Stableford golf competitions take place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at La Manga - entry fee €3 with Resort guest card.

Travel/Weather

From Alicante take the Alicante-Cartagena motorway until it joins the MU-312 road heading for La Manga. Follow the road past two service stations, take the exit for Los Belones and Portman. At the roundabout, turn right towards Portman and Campo de Golf. Follow the signs for La Manga Club.

Spain’s premier tennis resort, with Tennis Academy (9am - 12pm, Mon - Fri) for individual and group coaching (starting with 45-minute lessons from €41). 10-hour Academy from €255.

The main tennis event at La Manga is the annual Murcia Turistica Tennis Open - an open competition which includes categories for men and women from 35+ to 65+. Entry also offers a cocktail reception, gala dinner. Takes places annually in December.

La Manga Junior Club

Open all year round, La Manga Junior Club offers a superb range of facilities and fun activities for children aged three months to 12 years.

What's more, the air-conditioned centre is a safe, colourful place, where everything has been designed with youngsters in mind: furniture made to measure, including mini bathroom facilities, under the watchful eye of experienced team of monitors. Table football, table hockey, pool and table tennis for older children.

La Manga South Course

Par: 73 Length: 6499m Course designer: Robert Putnam/Arnold Palmer Venue: Spanish Open, European Tour Q-School

The South Course at La Manga is one of Spain’s best and has hosted top events such as the Spanish Open and European Tour Q-School. The South course is reasonably open and flat, with most golfers choosing to walk rather than take buggies. Palms line the fairways and water features on no less than 15 holes, but the bunkers may prove the greatest test on tee-shots and approach play. The front nine is the longer of the two with both par-threes over 200 metres in length from the back tees.

La Manga North Course

Par: 71 Length: 5753m Course designer: Robert Putnam

The North Course is the shorter of the 3 Golf Course at La Manga The course is hilly, with some drops and climbs, fairways are undulating and palm tree-lined, with great views across the resort and hills. The highlight of the round is the spectacular closing hole, with a second shot carry over a water gully to an elevated green.

La Manga West Course

Par: 72 Length: 5975m Course designer: Dave Thomas

The West Course at La Manga is situated approximately 2km from the main La Manga Resort and is more undulating and natural a test than the North and South. The West Course is an accuracy test, however, with numerous ravines, water hazards and dense Spanish countryside to avoid. Make sure your game doesn’t stop you from fully appreciating the peace and quiet of the surrounding woodland and countryside.
