Collados de Roda: is a gourmet restaurant on the first floor of the clubhouse which mixes classic cuisine with exotic dishes which have a modern twist. The modern design is bright and spacious and there are superb views of the golf course.

Breakfast is also served in the main clubhouse restaurant, which also served lunch and light dinner.

Leisure Facilities

A beach club, open during the summer months, includes a swimming pool with Jacuzzi and sun terraces while there are also tennis courts and paddle tennis courts on site at Roda Resort.

Roda Golf Resort is home to the first PGA Golf Academy outside of the UK. The facility includes a state of the art driving range, with instruction can be held by PGA staff.

The driving range offers 16 spacious bays and practice bunkers, a putting green and short game area.

Local Area

Murcia is one of the most attractive areas of Spain with more than 200 beaches mixing with lush fertile landscapes.

The city of Murcia itself is a must for any sightseer with some glorious baroque and medieval architecture. Leading attractions include the 15th century Cathedral de Santa Maria, the beautiful Baroque Cathedral, Almudi Palace, the Arabian influenced castle of Monteagudo, the Market de Veronicas, the Malecon Garden, the University of Murcia and the Museum Ramon Gaya.

Nearby La Manga del Mar Menor plays host to numerous activities including: jet-skiing, kite-surfing, waterskiing, wakeboarding and diving, as well as boat trips out onto the Mar Menor.

Roda

Roda golf course is a challenging set-up from leading designer Dave Thomas. The difficulty of the holes can vary considerably according to the pin positions with bunkers and the humps and swales of the greens offering protection to many flags. The course is very scenic with its lush rolling fairways and profusion of water hazards. Elevated tees and greens are also a major feature. Signature hole is the par-three seventh, with its island green reminiscent of the 17th at Sawgrass.

El Valle

El Valle GC is set in the backdrop of the Murcian Mountains and within a beautiful natural desert valley. The golf course groups several holes together while keeping the surrounding development on the perimeter. This means many holes border other golf holes and not houses, creating a more open and natural golf experience. Rather than length, the course relies on numerous subtle strategic elements with clusters of subtle bunkering to challenge golfers. This course puts a premium on accuracy, not power, and favours the intelligent player who can manage his or her game. Visitors to Intercontinental La Torre enjoy complimentary transfers to El Valle.

La Torre

La Torre GC has been designed on a Florida-style golf course with large elaborate bunkers and lakes which are complimented by picturesque views La Torre features 6 par-3's including the 17th with a155 metres carry over water, plus 2 Par 5's, both of 450 metres. Accuracy is required for the par 4's so keep which may reward keeping the driver in your bag! The greens are typically in excellent condition, undulating and quite fast!
