Pinehurst No. 2

Pinehurst No. 2 is one of the most famous courses in the world and a regular host of the US Open. It was the scene of Michael Campbell’s 2005 triumph and the late Payne Stewart won here famously in 1999. It will again host the US Open in 2014.

The raised greens and their run-off areas are the main feature on this Donald Ross-designed course. Change in elevation is also a key factor on this course with penal bunkers and pine trees giving the golfer a serious test.
