Dalí Triangle
Salvador Dalí is perhaps the most famous of all Girona’s famous geniuses. Guests at PGA Catalunya Resort have the opportunity to admire firsthand the invaluable legacy left by this great artist by visiting what is known as the Dalí Triangle: the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres, one of the country’s most visited museums and home to one of the most important collections of surrealist art as well as the artist’s grave; the Salvador Dalí House-Museum, the artist’s home in Portlligat (Cadaqués) and where part of his work and personal belongings remain; and the Gala Dalí House-Museum in Púbol.

Girona Pyrenees
PGA Catalunya Resort is also the perfect starting point for taking in the spectacular scenery of the Girona Pyrenees. Mountain enthusiasts can discover high peaks, bucolic valleys, picturesque villages full of history like Besalu, Ripoll or Castellfollit de la Roca (with a stunning cliff-top location) and incredible natural scenery like La Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park and the Fageda d'en Jorda forest.
In the winter months our most athletic guests can enjoy any of the region’s four first-class ski resorts (La Molina, Masella, Vallter 2000 and Vall de Núria) as well as the Guils Fontanera cross-country ski resort.

Greenways

Visitors at PGA Catalunya Resort Through have the opportunity to explore the area on foot or by bicycle on the network of greenways that cross Girona from north to south and from east to west and enjoy a unique natural heritage replete with incredible views, breathtaking scenery and charming towns along the way.
The greenways are reserved for the exclusive use of walkers and cyclists and rarely has a more than 3% incline, making it a safe and suitable activity for all ages.
