Rooms and suites are presented in two distinct wings, Hartford and Crescent.

The two-story Hartford Wing is decorated in classic colonial architecture, with rich mahogany and cane furnishings. Guestrooms and suites offer Ocean or Garden Views. In addition to 33m²/350ft² of interior space, the room also opens to a patio or balcony perfect for relaxing.

Crescent Wing Rooms are decorated in Contemporary luxury style featuring louvered doors opening to a private patio (ground) or balcony (first floor), offering endless Beachfront Views. King-size mahogany beds, hardwood floors, sisal rugs and fresh flowers create a relaxing retreat. (51m²/550ft² of interior space).

Garden and Ocean Suites

Each expansive one-bedroom suite offers a King-size bed, a separate parlour for dining and entertaining, sliding glass doors lead to an adjoining terrace or balcony. Bathrooms are adorned in marble with Roman bath, separate showers, and twin sink basins. (77m²/830ft²)

Villas

Residential-style villas perched above the beach with private infinity pools, as well as garden cottages, offer more spacious living areas for families. Villa 1085 - a three bedroom villa with ocean views, a private garden, swimming pool, personal chef and 24-hour butler service - played a pivotal role, providing a haven for James Bond and his leading lady in the recent release.

Bar/Dining

The signature restaurant at The Ocean Club Bahamas, Dune, overlooks the ocean, with acclaimed chef Jean-George Vongerichten, combining French/Asian menu with Caribbean flavours. Dining that is renowned and unforgettable featuring the imaginative cuisine of chef.

Located in The Ocean Club's stately reception hall, The Library exudes the warm, comfortable ambience of a Colonial plantation home. Cocktails, fine vintage wines and champagnes, gourmet pastries and Afternoon Tea are served along with lovely panoramic views of the ocean.

Leisure Facilities

Spa (featuring eight Balinese-style private treatment villas with open-air gardens), Fitness Centre with personal training by renowned New York City fitness operator La Palestra, complimentary non-motorized water sport, complimentary bicycles are also available for touring Paradise Island. Take a swim in the languid Versailles Pool, for adults ages 14 and older. Poolside concierge service includes misting, music selections, lemonade and sorbet service, newspapers and magazines. Paradise Island / Ocean Club

The world class Ocean Club resort is located on Paradise Island, Bahamas which is linked to Nassau in the south by road bridge.

A sliver of land five miles long and only a mile wide, Paradise Island is widely viewed as the most spectacular island in all of The Bahamas. When Swedish industrialist Axel Wenner-Gren first anchored his yacht off its pristine shores in 1939, he was enthralled by the unspoiled beauty of a place that locals called Hog Island. For more than two decades, he nurtured his private paradise, building a magnificent estate with intricately landscaped gardens inspired by those at the Chateau de Versailles.

In 1962, Wenner-Gren sold his estate to Huntington Hartford II, heir to the Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company fortune. Envisioning an exclusive resort destination, Hartford petitioned the Bahamaian government to rename the island Paradise.

On paradise, he built the original Ocean Club, a luxurious 52-room hotel with an 18-hole golf course. Hartford invested nearly $10 million in Ocean Club, gracing the property with terraced gardens, fountains, bronze and marble statuary imported from Europe, and a magnificent 12th-century Augustinian cloister, shipped piece-by-piece from France.

The renowned estate was sold to Kerzner International in 1994 and renamed The Ocean Club in 2002.

Dune: The signature restaurant at the Ocean Club overlooks the white sand beach with dramatic ocean views. The cuisine is an innovative blend of French-Asian infused with local herbs and Bahamian influences. Dinner selections include the freshest local seafood, and duck seasoned with herbs grown in Dune’s organic garden.

Dune's British Colonial design was created by famed French interior designer Christian Liaigre, featuring a display kitchen and outdoor patios overlooking the beach. Cocktails, fine vintage wines and champagnes are also served throughout the day at Dune’s adjacent beachfront bar.

At the Ocean Club, each day of the week also offers special dining occasions. On Thursday through Sunday, the open-air Courtyard Terrace creates an inviting atmosphere.
