La Casita Restaurant is located at the Casa de Campo Marina offering a choice of sumptuous seafood specialties, fine Spanish cuisine and breathtaking views of private yachts and of the Caribbean Sea.

Lago Grill: With a natural casual ambience, Lago Grill is the place at Casa de Campo for delicious and quick buffet-style breakfasts and lunches. Overlooking the Teeth of the Dog golf course and a wide water view of the Caribbean Sea, Lago Grill will wake you up with Caribbean delights including fresh juice cocktails and tropical fruit selections and pancakes. For lunch enjoy the made-to-order pasta buffet, flavorful Dominican dishes and a huge salad bar. Sunday brunch highlights typical Dominican criolla tastes.

La Piazzetta: The feel of Venice, Napoli or Milan is inescapable at La Piazzetta. Boasting an astounding antipasto bar, made-from-scratch pasta. With live music, strolling Italian minstrels and an authentic Mediterranean atmosphere. Collared shirts required.

Chinois: In the Plaza Portofino, at the Casa de Campo Marina, featuring pan-Asian flavors, sample Cantonese, Japanese sushi and other dishes. Vibrant décor of waterfalls, rich colours and five-star service.

La Cana Bar and Restaurant by Il Circo: Located in the hotel’s main area, Tropicana Grill serves up the highest quality filet mignon, churrasco and other meats. Enjoy the open-air architecture and be sure to ask your server to recommend one of over 100 wines. Live piano music plays nightly.

19th Hole. Snack bar faces the famous Teeth of the Dog course and is the perfect place to stop and recharge after a day driving, chipping and putting in the sun. Visit the Golf Pro Shop right next door.

Water/Beach Activities: On Casa de Campo's exclusive Minitas Beach, guests can enjoy a variety of water sports: Kayaks, hobbie cats, windsurfers and paddleboats. Special arrangements can be made for anglers, snorkelers and for SCUBA diving.

For families: La Palapa beach hut is available for kids to play under the supervision of the trained La Palapa staff.

Sailing: Sail to the nearby Catalina Island and enjoy its white sand beaches and pristine blue waters. The Sunset Sea Cruise, a private charter, is a two-hour catamaran cruise to experience the spectacular Caribbean sunsets. The Chavón River Cruise, aboard the charming old world “River Princess” or “Empress Lily” paddleboats, is an evening tour that gets you up close and personal with the beautiful winding Chavón River.

Swimming Pools: In addition to the Casa de Campo beautiful private beach, the resort’s fun-filled dual-level swimming pool boasts cascade, swim-up bar and convenient snack service; and a children's pool for the kids to splash around. Those on deck can lounge around under the palms or tuck into white tents for shaded relaxation. For those who want to swim workout, adjacent to the main pool, there's a rectangular pool for laps!

Jogging Trail: The 3 miles jogging / cycling trail loops around the central section of Casa de Campo, starting at the hotel and heading east on the main road towards the Marina. Take in the sites of Casa de Campo as you follow the trail south towards the beautiful beach at the intersection of the Chavón and Minitas Beach road.

Shooting: The Casa de Campo's Shooting Centre came to life simulating true “in the wild” shooting experiences for shooters of all ages and skill levels. The 110- ft red & white tower is the focal point of this facility that features true to life hunting simulations, pigeon rings, as well as an airy clubhouse with a lush tropical African-themed ambiance. For those who are less adventurous, but parched for a drink, throw back a beverage at Michael’s Bar, a wonderful complement to a day on the range.

Local Area

Airport Access: American Airlines fly to La Romana (Casa de Campo) Airport from Miami and San Juan, Puerto Rico; Thomas Cook from Munich and Frankfurt.

Altos de Chavon is a 16th century village located 5 miles from Casa De Campo resort, perched high above the Chavón River, with cobblestone streets, quaint shops, exclusive boutiques, art galleries and an archeological museum.

Breathtaking venues such as the St. Stanislaus Church are available for special occasions, themed events and celebrations of any size or style.

A Grecian-style amphitheatre is the site for dramatic entertainment, such as the weekly Kandelá musical review show, annual festivals, or a magnificent private function under the stars.

Fishing

Deep Sea Fishing is available to guests of Casa de Campo, with half or full day excursions for wahoo, dolphin, tuna, kingfish, sailfish, marlin and even barracuda which are all plentiful in local Caribbean waters.

Fresh water fishing through lush tropical vegetation, tall cliffs and palm trees along the Chavón River is also on offer. The three-hour excursion includes the river guide, tackle, bait and sodas. Catch includes near world-record snook.

For those interested in photography, the two-hour river tour is a scenic ride with superb views including some Hollywood highlights!

Families

The Casa de Campo Resort in Dominican Republic is a low-build expansive tropical resort with leisure and entertainment programme for all guests.

When different generations want to enjoy their own special activities, Casa de Campo staff supervises fun children’s activities all day, every day.

For kids aged 4-7, Kidz n’ Casa organise exciting adventures such as beach Olympics, treasure hunt, swimming and more. Full day includes lunch; half day includes snack.

Not Kidz and not quite Teens, 8-12s are cool Casa Tweens! They are chatty, giggly and always active so the Casa Tweens are off kayaking, horseback riding, playing tennis and more!

Teen's Hang Out: Ages 13-17, evening program for teens to have fun with other teens within the Resort. This program operates seven nights a week from 7:00pm-12:00mn. A supervised area exclusively for Casa de Campos teen guests, and features their own Bonch4teens Club with a billiard table, air hockey, music, movies and more.

Family Fun Programme provides lots of opportunities for the whole family to enjoy time together. All Family Fun Time activities are complimentary.

Horse Riding

The stables at Casa de Campo are equipped for pony rides and polo. Scenic trails include a one-hour golf course ride, a two-hour trek through tropical trails by the Chavón River and a three-hour ride through sugarcane fields to the cane-cutter's village.

Expert staff is on hand for lessons in English or Western-style riding, jumping, dressage and polo. Guests of Casa de Campo may also request instruction in grooming techniques, rodeo stunts or sign up for a hilarious game of donkey polo!

For young children, rides are available on Anita, Juanito and Miguelito, the center’s three ponies.

If you’re seeking the thrill of polo, the Casa de Campo facilities are among the best in the Caribbean. Consisting of three playing fields, one practice field and the largest string of polo ponies under a single brand in the world, there is no place better to enjoy this rigorous and engaging sport. Equipment, group instruction and personalized training are available for beginners and medium-goal players. Guests may hire ponies for stick and ball tournaments and families can compete against each other in matches held each week.

Regular polo matches are played throughout the week during the season, which begins in early November and ends in April. Please note: long pants and closed shoes are required to ride at the center. Children must be over seven-years old or have prior riding experience.

The Teeth of the Dog is consistently ranked among the very best courses in the Caribbean, and within the top 100 courses in the world. The course features 7 spectacular Ocean holes, with doglegs alongside the ocean, and signature Dye obstacles such as elevated greens.

Casa de Campo - Dye Fore

Dye Fore is set spectacularly in the hills with seven holes running along cliffs that drop 300 feet to the Chavón River below. Dense forestry and panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea and Dominican Mountains make this an extraordinarily picturesque as well as intimidating challenge. Holes number 12 and number 15 are two of the greatest par three holes in the world. This addition to the Casa de Campo Resort contrasts superbly with the “Teeth of the Dog”. Dye Fore’s clubhouse sits amid the wonderful Altos de Chavón village, just 5km from the Casa de Campo Resort.

Casa de Campo - Links Course

Par: 72 Length: 6461 yards

The Links course is the No.3 course at Casa de Campo, but still offers a very good and enjoyable test, with water coming into play on several holes and bunkering designed in the style of traditional British courses. The Links offers some great views of the Caribbean, as well as lagoons that are home to wading birds.
