Fine Dining

Their settings too provide huge variety from spectacular views perched 200m above sea level to beach and poolside dining. The jewels in the crown are the elegant Al Iwan and the award-winning Al Mahara.
Al Iwan is set in the heart of the world’s tallest atrium, flanked by golden columns and next to the lobby fountain. The rich décor of gold, burgundy and black creates an atmosphere of timeless Arabian elegance. The excellent but uncomplicated Arabic cuisine is complemented by seven-star Burj al Arab service and an extensive list of fine wines.
Al Mahara is on the ground floor of the towering Burj al Arab with tables set around a magnificent glass aquarium full of exotic fish, creating a submerged theme to the restaurant. Delicious contemporary seafood is prepared by award-winning chefs with a fusion of other meats and Asian flavours. The underwater theme gives the impression that the fresh ingredients have just been plucked from the ocean.

Emirates Majlis
Par: 72
Length: 7185 yards
Course designer: Karl Litten
Venue: European Tour – Dubai Desert Classic
|
The Desert Miracle was the name given to Emirates Golf Club when it became the first all-grass championship golf course in the Gulf region, way back in 1988.
At Emirates Majlis lush, rolling fairways lead to large fast greens with the surrounding desert meaning you’ll have plenty of chances to practise your sand play. Water comes into play on many holes including the testing par-three 7th, with its long carry, and the thrilling par-five 18th, where the approach comes in across a lake to a long, thin green in the shape of a bow tie.
Emirates Majlis is host to the Dubai Desert Classic whose former winners include Tiger Woods.
The design of the clubhouse reflects a Bedouin tented village with seven gleaming white concrete and glass structures, complemented by the off-course areas where desert flora and fauna flourish.

Jumeirah - Earth Course
Par: 72
Length: 7675 yards
Course designer: Greg Norman
|
Jumeirah Golf Estates is home to Dubai’s most desirable residences and golf’s most prestigious destination. With World-Class Championship Courses and luxurious homes, Jumeirah Golf Estates sets a new standard in residential golf developments.
Jumeirah Golf Estates has brought together four legends of the game of golf Greg Norman (Earth, Fire & Wind), Vijay Singh (Water), Pete Dye (Wind) and Sergio Garcia (Wind). Their unmatched understanding of what makes an exceptional sporting venue has enabled them to design four incomparable golf experiences in Dubai.
The Earth course was the host of the inaugural Dubai World Championship in 2009 (Race to Dubai).
The Earth Course was inspired by the great parklands of Europe and North America. The course has an open layout with wide fairways and large sloping greens. The Signature Hole is the Par 5 18th with a rock lined stream positioned up the middle of the fairway leading to a dramatic final green.

Trump International Golf Dubai
Course designer: Gil Hanse
|
Trump Golf Dubai (opens February 2017) provides a one-of-a-kind experience for golfers of all skill levels.
Routed on over 500 acres and forged from what was previously flat and barren desert, Trump Golf Dubai has become a pre-eminent destination in the golf world. Hanse Golf Course Design, led by golf architect Gil Hanse and his partner Jim Wagner, utilized a massive and cavernous barranca as the backbone of the layout.
As players proceed through the course, the barranca strategically interacts with the holes providing elevation change, profound views and many exciting golf shots.
The rumpled fairways, inspired by the beautiful and natural desert contours, took shape on top of the pure, endemic red sand. The juxtaposition of rustic barranca and formal revetted bunkering provides an impressive look and a unique combination of hazards.
Gusty wind, a wide variety of vegetation and an abundance of exposed sand all require deliberate shot making in order to score. Rare to desert golf is the handful of holes which incorporate formidable water hazards encouraging strategic play off the tee and on approach shots.
Further enhancing this exquisite course is the 9-hole, par 3 Academy Course, allowing golfers access to their perfect game. Additionally, a world-class putting, chipping and practice facility, as well as our driving range with LED lighting, allows for optimal play well into the night.
