At the heart of this golfers’ paradise, Royal Mougins offers visitors a haven of peace and privacy. 29 suites are furnished to a style that blends with nature while emphasising space and natural light.

All suites are furnished to feel like apartments and comprise of: a bedroom with king size bed, a spacious bathroom with bath and shower compartment, an ensuite living room with sliding door, and a small, well-equipped kitchen.

The sofa turns into a bed, perfect for families or holidays between friends. A room service menu is available.

Standard suites (50m²) with balcony promise a calm and cosy environment.

Superior Suites, On the garden floor, stretch outside into private patios that lead to the landscaped garden areas designed by the famous landscaper Jean Mus.

Deluxe suites On the 1st floor Golf Facing, open onto ample terraces.

The large bay windows in the Premium category (on 2nd and 3rd floors) offer panoramic views on the golf course.

The Royal Mougins Golf Resort restaurant boasts a panoramic view that simply takes your breath away, out onto the golf course and the pristine nature of the grounds.

Guests can choose to sit either in a vast interior area with bay windows or on the sunny outdoor terrace.

The Lunch and Dinner menus are complemented by a superb wine menu and a team of attention, professional staff led by the capable and energetic Restaurant Manager Olivier Parra since 2016.

During the summer season, Friday dinners unfold to the sounds of the “Summer Live du Royal” (eclectic music programmes), in a warm, friendly, and often festive atmosphere; something that greatly contributes to the popularity of "La Terrasse du 18".

Local Area

If you are visiting the French Riviera, you can’t afford to miss Mougins.

Twenty minutes from Nice airport, fifteen minutes from Cannes, with its beaches and festivals, eight kilometres from Grasse, city of perfumes, Mougins proudly looks out from its hilltop over the neighbouring towns and villages to the foothills of the Alps in the distance.

Mougins’ location has always attracted the greatest of artists: Picasso, for one, came here to set up his workshop. Jean COCTEAU, Paul ELUARD, Man RAY, and even François MILLET were close on his heels, to name but a few.

In addition to its thirty art galleries and art workshops, Mougins abounds with museums, such as the Musée de la Photographie and Le Musée d’Art Classique de Mougins (MACM) with its unrivalled private collection (paintings by the likes of PICASSO, Andy WARHOL, RODIN, CÉZANNE and DALI).

The Mougins municipality is renowned for its cuisine and, boasting more than thirty restaurants, is home to some of France’s greatest chefs. The international food festival, "Les Etoiles de Mougins" (Stars of Mougins) has been held here every year for the last decade, thanks to the work and commitment of the food-loving community.

Along the coast, little coves follow picture-book beaches all the way to Nice, which opens its arms with the Promenade des Anglais to welcome you in amongst its colourful old buildings that whisper of times gone by, and, in February, to the celebration of its famous carnival.

Perched on its rock, Monaco lures you with luxury and shopping; a little further along, there’s Italy, with its monuments and its incomparable style of life.

In the other direction, pushing westward to Saint-Tropez with its legendary celebrities, here’s a bay blessed by the Gods, where in September the "Voiles de Saint-Tropez" puts on a ballet starring the most beautiful schooners, wooden boats and other dazzling cathedrals of canvas from around the world.

Provence is wonderful for golfers, with over 30 golf courses accessible within 1 hour drive of Cannes Mougins.

Stéphane Damiano PGA

From a golf professional family, Stéphane Damiano inherited an unparalleled expertise in golf teaching and golf players training.

Stephane detected the golf talents of Victor Dubuisson at the age of 8 and coached him until his 13 years old. Then he coached him again in 2011-2012 on the European Tour.

Nowadays, Stéphane Damiano leads a full tie junior golf program, with French or international school education, and is entirely dedicated to developing the true potential of young golfers.

The Royal Spa, located within an authentic 19th century stonewall country house, welcomes you into an oasis of peace and relaxation.

Royal Mougins Golf

At Royal Mougins Golf Resort, course designer Von Hagge has utilised the natural landscape, hills and wooded plains, to create varied holes that are often technical, complemented by 8 lakes features interlinked by rivers and mini waterfalls. The course is generally reserved to Club Members, but admission is also granted to all hotel guests or visitors who book a green-fee (up to 5 green fees per person per year permitted). Between 1995 and 1998, Royal Mougins Golf Club hosted the Cannes Open, a professional tournament on the European Tour.

Cannes-Mougins Golf Club

Par: 72 Length: 6400m Course designer: Peter Alliss & Dave Thomas

Cannes-Mougins Golf Club was founded in 1923 by a group of illustrious gentlemen such as Aga Khan, Prince Pierre of Monaco and Baron Edouard de Rothschild. The golf course was completely re-designed and rejuvenated in 1978 by Peter Allis and Dave Thomas. The superb site winds its way between two magnificent forests and the gently undulating course is traversed by the Bouillide river and several water hazards. Open fairways, lengthy greens - play combines technical expertise and moments of repose. A great golfing rendez-vous not be missed. Form 1984-1994, Cannes-Mougins played host to the Cannes Open. This competition was a highlight on the European Tour and winners include Greg Norman, Severiano Ballesteros, and Ian Woosnam!

Cannes-Mandelieu Golf Club

Par: 71 Length: 5749m Course designer: Harry Colt

Cannes-Mandelieu Golf Club – located some 7km northwards from Cannes features an 18-hole course – referred to as the Old Course – and a 9-hole course – also called the Grand Duc. The beautiful and challenging landscape and topography of the courses being complemented by other facilities, such as restaurant which looks over the Old Course and offers the most inviting Mediterranean dishes for lunch. A strong links style course set against a background of century-old parasol pines, with wide fairways, undulating greens. Typically picturesque: the river-crossing required to gain access to hole no.3!

Terre Blanche - Le Château

Par: 72 Length: 6616m Course designer: Dave Thomas

The more demanding of the two courses, Le Château at Terre Blanche Golf Club stretches (7,235 yards) and is known for spectacular water obstacles. The bunkers, greens and flag positions provide the challenges of a true championship course, rewarding players for their precision and distance. The layout is largely flat, with highlights including a picturesque lake and a 19th-century castle. This year-round showpiece provides a magnificent challenge that’s sure to test the abilities of the more advanced golfer.
