The golf course at Pula is a challenge of hard firm fairways and green, elevation changes, and tightly located greens. Water also comes into play from several tee-shots to increase the demands on shot making. Pula is located on the east of the island, deep in Mallorca countryside, 40 minutes drive from Palma. Darren Clarke won here on the European Tour from course designer Jose Maria Olazabal in second place in 2011, en route to his famous Open triumph at St Georges.
