The resort has over 2000 ocean or garden view rooms spread out across three distinct sections – Nizuc, Sunrise and Grand each with its own characteristics – and sits between 123 acres of tropical foliage and a 2000ft long strip of secluded white sand beach.

Guests of the Moon Palace Golf and Spa Resort can enjoy 15 different bars and restaurants as well as a nightclub at the resort.

The Spa at Moon Palace Golf and Spa Resort features 30 spacious treatment rooms, including a private Golden Suite, three couples' massage rooms with golf course/lake views and six master spa suites providing balneotherapy.

Local Area

Moon Palace Golf and Spa Resort is ideally located to visit historical Mayan Ruins including Chichen Itza, one of the world’s modern wonders, and the Tulum Archaeological Site.

There is also excellent scuba diving and snorkelling off the coast at Cozumel Island, the world’s second largest coral reef, and Isla Mujeres where a sea turtle breeding facility is open to the public.

Moon Palace Golf Club hosts 27 spectacular holes of Jack Nicklaus Signature Design, positioned on the gently rolling hills of the northern Riviera Maya and only a few minutes from Cancun. The courses feature championship golf that is accommodating to all levels of play offering three nine-hole courses, each par 36. In Jack Nicklaus own words: “The Moon Palace course was designed to provide corridors wide enough where you can play golf and have plenty of room to hit the ball. We tried to keep the breezy conditions that prevail in this area of the coast in mind, so we designed a course that will allow the golfer to play well within themselves. In the end, we think Moon Palace is a golf experience that is both challenging and enjoyable for all skill levels of play, but most of all, memorable”.

Riviera Cancun Golf and Resorts is a Signature course designed by renowned golfer Jack Nicklaus. The course features strategic bunkering, immaculate greens and a stunning layout of fairways. A spectacular Mexican-Contemporary Club House allows golfers to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the natural reserve that surrounds the course, including the dunes, lakes, mangroves and Tasiste native palm trees, which are some of the elements that make this course visually stunning.
