The Sheraton Hacienda (meaning old Mexican estate) features cobblestone lanes, fountains and winding paths to capture the spirit and feel of Old Mexico.

Each of the 270 guest rooms and suites include a Sheraton Sweet Sleeper(SM) Bed, a private terrace, and a whirlpool tub. There are four restaurants and five bars.

The Cactus Spa, a member of the Starwood Spa Collection, features classic Swedish massages, signature Cactus facials, sauna and steam rooms, and a state-of-the-art fitness centre.

Golfers can cool off with a swim in one of the three swimming pools and float over to Delfines swim-up bar to order their favourite drink.

Surrounding the resort, the Ocean Course by Jack Nicklaus at Cabo del Sol, rated 68th in the world by Golf Magazine, provides beautifully landscaped views.

Guest Rooms

Guestrooms are comfortable and spacious, featuring an authentic upscale Mexican décor in warm terracotta and cream tones in all 270 rooms. Bathrooms are decorated with blue, yellow and orange tones on tiles and ceramics at the walk-in shower and dual vanity area. Rooms enjoy a large private balcony equipped with patio furniture, with views of the ocean, gardens or golf courses.

One bedroom Suites feature full length private terraces with patio furniture, and comfortable living and dining areas accommodating up to 6 people.

Luxury suites offer commanding views of the Sea of Cortez.

The Sheraton Hacienda del Mar Resort & Spa, Los Cabos offers the choice of four restaurants and bars.

Pitahayas has received the "five-star diamond award" for seven consecutive years. Live classical music, romantically candlelit tables overlooking the Sea of Cortez, an outstanding wine cellar, all enhance the atmosphere of fine Pacific Rim cuisine dining.

Leisure Facilities

The Sheraton offers four swimming pools with distinctive settings: from the main infinity pool overlooking the Sea of Cortez, to our freeform remote pools hidden by the rich surrounding flora, or cobblestone pool complete with bridges and designs reminiscent of old world Hacienda architecture. The resort also features three outdoor Jacuzzis and two adjoining children's pools.

Fitness Center, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi. Weights area, cardio machines and an aerobics area for stretching are all available.

The Cactus Spa offers a diversity of conscious choices for relaxation and rejuvenation. This Mexican style Spa comprises 11 treatment rooms including 6 for massages and 3 for facials or massages, 1 Vichy Shower and 1 Soft Pack System or "German Bed" for body wraps.

The Sheratoons kids club is open from Tuesday to Sunday between 9am and 5pm for children aged 5 to 12 years old. Sheratoons offers a complete range of activities for all ages including arts and crafts, pool time, movies and games. This service is provided by a certified and bilingual staff.

The Sheraton Hacienda is located in the tourist Corridor of Los Cabos, 30 miles from Los Cabos airport, and within a short drive to the lively resort town of Cabo San Lucas.

Mexico is one of the world's top fishing destinations. Many fishing enthusiasts consider Cabo San Lucas in Los Cabos to have the best year round availability with more than 800 species of fish inhabiting the warm waters from tuna to sailfish, and a variety of black, blue and striped marlin.

Mexico fishing records are constantly being broken here. Hosts of swordfish also make the shores of Cabo their home and are available between January and June.

The Desert Course at Cabo del Sol offers dramatic views of the Sea of Cortez from every hole - the natural beauty of desert, mountain and ocean provides an ideal setting and some of the best terrain for golf anywhere. "My design incorporates traditional bunkering, expansive greens, wide fairways, multiple tee areas, natural waste areas and spectacular ocean views. Cabo del Sol - Ocean Course

“The best piece of golf property in the world.” – Jack Nicklaus The Ocean Course at Cabo del Sol is situated along 1.5 miles of oceanfront at the Sea of Cortez. Considered by some to be the most challenging in Cabo San Lucas and Los Cabos, Golf Magazine named Cabo del Sol on its list of the “Top 100 Courses In The World. the course is also known as the “Mexican Pebble Beach.” Plenty of gullies, sand traps and other obstacles make play very interesting. Signature holes include the par-three No.17 - a 178-yard shot over a sandy beach and rock outcroppings to a small green framed by bunkers on one side and a drop to the ocean on the other. No.18 is modelled after the 18th at Pebble Beach.

Cabo Real

Par: 72 Length: 7037 yards Course designer: Robert Trent Jones Jnr Venue: 1996 & 1999 PGA Senior Slams

The course at Cabo Real is set in the ultra-exclusive, ocean-front Las Ventanas al Paraiso resort. Rolling fairways move along the mountainside then drop back down toward the beach. The first nine features elevation changes, hills and valleys, with No.6 460 ft above sea level offering inspiring views. The par-4 14th sweeps down to the ocean on a palm tree-lined fairway, followed by an elevated green right next to the rolling surf. There are superb ocean views from every hole and whales can sometimes be seen off the coast.

Palmilla Golf

Par: 72 Length: 6900 yards Course designer: Don Koll and Jack Nicklaus

Palmilla Golf features 27 holes of gentle slopes, wide fairways, and large but challenging greens in a truly picturesque destination. The three loops of nine are the Arroyo, the Mountain, and the new Ocean. Signature hole is No.5 on Arroyo, with a force-carry from a mountain tee box to a well-manicured island fairway and a green that is laid on the natural slope of an arroyo (gulley). To ensure a comfortable round of golf, all carts are equipped with Coolwell G2 personal cooling units.

Puerto Los Cabos GC

Par: 73 Length: 7461 yards Course designer: Jack Nicklaus & Greg Norman

The Golf Club at Puerto Los Cabos will consist of 36 holes of exceptional Championship Golf, designed by two of the biggest names in golf. Capitalizing on the site's natural beauty was a principal goal for both these champions. The Jack Nicklaus ‘Marina’ will be a Resort course open to visitors, where as the Greg Norman ‘Mission’ a private course for residents. Visitors are currently able to enjoy 18 holes (9 holes of each course) until the rest are complete.
