Hotel
The Fairmont Banff Springs is a tourist attraction in its own right - designed in the style of a Scottish baronial castle, with William Wallace Lounge, Spanish Walk and the Waldhaus German Bar and Lounge (House in the Forest) and Heritage Hall all combining to create a perfect blend of cultural and historic luxury and comfort.
The Fairmont Banff Springs’ surroundings overlook the Bow and Spray valleys, glacial rivers, the Rocky Mountains and the pine forests of western Alberta.
For golfers, the resort course at Banff is spectacular, accessed across the white waters of Bow Falls and through a pine forest, with the second nine running alongside the Bow River. To the south is one of the finest courses in Canada, Greywolf, which is accessed through a once-in-a-lifetime drive deep within the Rockies.
Guests to The Fairmont Banff Springs can ease away their worries at the famed Willow Stream Spa, while there are extensive leisure facilities overlooking the valleys.
There’s also a wonderful choice for lovers of fine food with The Banffshire Club’s fabulous creations from top chef Ian Bens and Castello Ristorante’s exquisite Italian cuisine.
The resort town of Banff is just a short jog or leisurely stroll from the hotel, with bars, boutiques and shopping.
For the outdoor enthusiast, Banff has it all, hiking, gondola rides, fishing, white water rafting, nature trails and biking.
