The Delta Lodge at Kananaskis is a mountain resort which has played host to G8 world leaders and the movie stars of Brokeback Mountain.
The backdrop is in fact of Mount Lorette and Mount Kidd – making for spectacular golf at nearby Kananaskis Golf Club. Stewart Creek and Silver Tip are both just a 20-minute traffic-free drive away in Canmore, and the Fairmont Golf Course is in the resort town of Banff, just 30 minutes easy driving from Delta Lodge in traffic free roads, with the Rockies and emerald lakes for company.
Delta Lodge is also a perfect venue for outdoor enthusiasts, with horse riding trips from the nearby Boundary Ranch through the Rockies and daily hiking activities.
The accommodation at Delta Lodge is made up of two buildings situated just 40 feet from one another and connected by an indoor walkway. The first building is the “Lodge” portion of the resort and the second building is the John Palliser Manor reserved exclusively for Signature Club.
A short walk through the resort towards the Vista Seating is a must – with awe-inspiring mountain views over this wonderful part of Canada.

Kananaskis Mount Kidd Course
Par: 72
Length: 7072 yards
Course designer: Robert Trent Jones Jnr
|
Situated in the Kananaskis Valley, the Mount Lorette and Mount Kidd Courses are named for the soaring limestone peaks that serve as their breathtaking backdrop.
The terrain is reasonably flat with tree-lined fairways and streams and rivers cutting alongside and across holes. A few dogleg holes are well-defended with mature pines and the par-3 holes are challenging with their length.
“The best natural setting I’ve ever been given to work with” - Robert Trent Jones Jr

Kananaskis Mount Lorette Course
Par: 72
Length: 7102 yards
Course designer: Robert Trent Jones Jr

The Kananaskis Mount Lorette Course is generally straighter than its sister Mount Kidd layout, affording the player a little more encouragement on tee shots!
It does, however, share the same stunning valley setting with limestone peaks as a backdrop. Water features include the same rivers and streams as on the Mount Kidd Course and lakes that border four of the holes.
Golf Digest Magazine voted Kananaskis as being one of the top 25 public courses in North America.

Stewart Creek
Par: 72
Length: 7195 yards
Course designer: Gary Browning
|
"The intent of the first tee was to place players up there and take their breath away." – Gary Browing
Stewart Creek is a spectacular mountain golf course located on the Three Sisters Mountain Village in Canmore, Alberta. With lakes, elevation changes, mature forest and even some restored mine entrances offering a reminder of the area’s history, an average day on the fairways may never be so memorable!
The stunning scenery has contributed towards Stewart Creek receiving the position of “Second Best new course in Canada” by Golf Digest Magazine.

Silver Tip
Par: 72
Length: 7300 yards
Course designer: Les Furber
|
Silvertip Golf Course is carved out of Rocky Mountain terrain and enjoys some of the world's most stunning 360-degree mountain views. Pine forest, water and rocky outcrops feature on the rolling layout alongside challenging and undulating golf holes.
Silvertip plays from a comfortable 5,000 yards to an awesome championship 7,300 yards with more than 600 feet of elevation changes.
