Guest Rooms

The Oitavos offers 142 over-sized guest rooms all of which have a private balcony with views of the ocean or golf course, also featuring 2 flat-screen televisions per room and complimentary wi-fi internet access.

Superior Room (60m2) +private balcony (16m2). Superior Rooms offer views of the golf course and feature partial Atlantic Ocean views from the balcony.

Premium Room (64m2): Premier Rooms offer Golf and Atlantic Ocean views.

Premium Corner Rooms (64m2): Located on the South end tip of the hotel building and feature large wrap around balconies of 34 to 44m2.

Atlantic Suite (136m2): This fantastic extra spacious suite is located in the Northwest corner of the top floor offering dramatic views of the Atlantic Ocean, golf and mountains from its balcony with 33m2. The one-bedroom Atlantic suite features a separate living and dining area as well as an independent washroom.

The Forte (120 sqm): This is a very exclusive private villa set among the greens of Oitavos Dunes and with a marvellous 360º view which allows you to enjoy both the Atlantic Ocean, the Cabo da Roca (Continental Europe’s westernmost point) and the hills of Sintra. This villa features both a living room with a full equipped kitchen and a king size suite with whirlpool bath; one of the main features is the private outdoor heated swimming pool and a spectacular sun deck.

The Ipsylon Restaurant & Bar: Ipsylon offers a smart and cosmopolitan environment, ideal for mingling and socializing. A variety of leisure and dining options are available all day long.

Chef’s Table: Chef Cyrill Devilliers invites guests of The Oitavos to experience the Chef´s Table and enjoy his unique menu inspired by fresh local produce. The Chef will create a bespoke menu on a daily basis depending on guest preference and seasonal availability.

The Atlântico Pool Bar: Following the concept of “harmonious and healthy cuisine”, guests at the swimming pool can enjoy light meals as well as a wide selection of tasty tapas, pastas, salads, finger food and a variety of drinks.

Oitavos

Located in Cascais just 1km from Quinta da Marinha Hotel, close to the Guincho beach and surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, Oitavos is one course not to be missed on the Costa Lisboa. Oitavos gives an old Scottish links feel with nine out and nine back layout. The early holes are in a wooded area then the course opens up a little and its style becomes more that of a traditional links. The quality of the layout is immediately apparent. The course hosted the PGA European Tour Portuguese Open in 2005 with Paul Broadhurst lifting the trophy.

Penha Longa - Atlantic

The famous golf architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed the renowned Atlantic course at Penha Longa which is as much a physical challenge because of the landscape, as it is pleasing on the eye, for the same reason. The land is also steeped in history, with a Palace, a church and the Fountain of Tears all situated on the estate formerly owned by the Count of Penha Longa. This is no ordinary track!

Quinta da Marinha

Situated in one of the most pleasant areas of the Portuguese coastline, between Cascais and Guincho, Quinta da Marinha is one of the leading courses in Portugal, hosting the European Tour’s Estoril Open in 2002. The 13th hole is particularly memorable - a 390-metre par four, with the Atlantic providing the backdrop to the green.
