The Dolce CampoReal Golf Resort & Spa occupies land formerly used by the Portuguese royal family as hunting ground – set within a beautiful valley overlooking an unspoiled countryside of rolling hills and ancient vineyards – just 30 minutes from Lisbon Airport.

Dolce CampoReal offers 2-4 bedroom apartments, featuring luxury kitchens, TV lounges and free internet services – ideal for golfing groups and families. Accommodation include 1 King bed, 2 twin bedrooms in each unit and a roll away bed as required. Golf Packages allow for 4 persons sharing a 2-bedroom apartment – each paying the “sharing” rate listed. For 2 persons, the “single” rate is applicable. Rates for accommodation in a 3-Bedroom/4-Bedroom Apartment are available on request. Breakfast is available as an optional extra, served at the hotel restaurant.

Guests may access the CampoReal Indoor & Outdoor Swimming Pool & Gym at no extra cost. For use of the Divine Spa, Jacuzzi and other services, an optional supplement is payable.

Golf packages at CampoReal include 27 holes per green fee, with play at Royal Obidos optional in place of CampoReal.

Away from the golf course, the beaches of Ericeira and Santa Cruz are just 20km away, walk and the medieval town of Obidos just 30 minutes’ drive north, nearby Royal Obidos golf.

Guest Rooms

Dolce CampoReal offers 2-4 bedroom apartments, featuring luxury kitchens, TV lounges and free internet services.

All residences feature luxury kitchens with stainless steel appliances and granite work surfaces. Lounges come complete with TVs – with over 60 international channels and sofa-bed. Free Internet is available via cable in the residences or via WIFI in the Hotel. Each room is fully equipped with air-conditioning for the summer.

The Kitchen comprises of a great amount of appliances such as: refrigerators, dishwashers, oven with hob, microwaves, Tea & Coffee services, full set glassware, full set cookware and full set cutlery allow for stress free self-catering holidays.

Servicing of rooms occurs every two days and a refill of amenities takes place when necessary.

Campo Real is located 30 minutes north of Lisbon and 20 minutes from the beaches of the Silver Coast.

Browse the wine routes of the Oeste region and visit the medieval town of Obidos just 30 minutes’ drive from the hotel.

The nearest village, Turcifal, has a charming old quarter and hosts local festivals and celebrations, and it is renowned for its exceptional wines.

Nearby is Torres Vedras, the region’s lively commercial centre, famous for its hilltop fortresses - the Lines of Torres - built by the Duke of Wellington to defend against Napoleon’s troops. Also, nearby is Sintra - Portugal’s jewel and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The workout gym is furnished with advanced cardio and strength equipment from Life Fitness. The fitness centre is adjoined to the spa, so you can treat yourself to relaxing rejuvenation post-workout.

A trail ride on horseback through Portugal’s exquisite countryside provides a unique perspective on this beautiful region.

Guests at Dolce CampoReal Golf Resort & Spa can enjoy this magical experience as well as take riding lessons and classes at the Equestrian Centre, located within 15 minutes walking distance from the main hotel building with preferred rates for residents.

The Equestrian Centre proudly offers facilities for different specialities, from basic riding lessons to the training of competition horses. The facilities include:

Campo Real Golf

The Campo Real Golf Course is a scenic and spectacular championship course set within dramatic rolling countryside just 30 minutes north from Lisbon. Golfers can not only enjoy the fantastic challenge of the course but also the nature trail through steep wooded valleys of cork oak, olive and fragrant eucalyptus trees. Beginning and ending with par-five holes, the course features smooth, undulating greens and stunning views from the elevated tees.

Praia D'El Rey Golf Course

Located on the "Costa de Prata", just a few kilometres away from the historical medieval village of Óbidos and the Óbidos lagoon, the Praia D’El Rey Country Club faces the Atlantic ocean and the natural park of the Berlengas islands. The course combines magnificent sea views, sand dunes and pine woods to create an exciting links golf course. Recently voted the 13th-best course in continental Europe by Golf World magazine.

West Cliffs Golf Links

Crafted by time, molded by the tides, and sculpted by the winds. In a place of unspoiled nature, were the Wild West Europe meets the immensity of the Atlantic Ocean, a new golf experience managed by Praia D’el Rey is born. The varied landscape and natural terrain at West Cliffs remain undisturbed to create a unique and world class 18-hole seaside links golf course. Rolling sand dunes are interspersed with coastal vegetation, while pine groves overlook the ocean from above. This privileged and exclusive location will mesmerise and challenge you to tame the forces of nature and perfect your game. West Cliffs is designed by the world renowned golf course designer Cynthia Dye from Dye Design. The golf course design process required a long term, careful study of the site conditions, characteristics and restrictions. The Dye team worked closely with the local government's planning and engineering departments as well as several concerned national ministries. The design evolved through many reviews and exhaustive revisions to ensure a minimum disturbance of the environment and protection of the areas of existing drainage basins, dinosaur fossils and heritage pine trees. The beauty and challenge of this rare ocean side links course grows with each passing hole and although thrilling and dramatic it is available to all levels of golfers.

Royal Obidos Golf

Par: 72 Length: 6695m Course designer: Seve Ballesteros

The Royal Obidos course opened Summer 2012 represents a great test - and an opportunity to play the last golf course designed by Seve Ballesteros. The first hole, a generous right handed dogleg, heads north, setting up a spectacular combination of holes overlooking the lagoon (Lagoa de Óbidos). The feature hole of the front nine is the 3rd, a 144m Par 3 off the yellow tees to an island green, with the stunning Óbidos lagoon in the background. The second nine holes overlook the Atlantic Ocean. Six of the holes meander between an intricate ecosystem of lakes interconnected by cascading streams. The highlight of the back nine is the 18th, a 490m Par 5 off the yellow tees, with a panoramic over the back nine, the clubhouse and the Ocean beyond. The clubhouse offers a restaurant with a variety of menus available, two bars, lounge, pro-shop and bags storage area. Sitting out on the generous terrace, owners and visitors to Royal Óbidos will enjoy spectacular views of the golf course and the cascading lakes and streams, ”and some truly wonderful sunsets” over the Atlantic Ocean. Complimentary Golf Shuttle provided to Royal Obidos from Praia del Rey Resort.
