Kananaskis Mount Kidd Course

Situated in the Kananaskis Valley, the Mount Lorette and Mount Kidd Courses are named for the soaring limestone peaks that serve as their breathtaking backdrop.

The terrain is reasonably flat with tree-lined fairways and streams and rivers cutting alongside and across holes. A few dogleg holes are well-defended with mature pines and the par-3 holes are challenging with their length.

The best natural setting I’ve ever been given to work with” - Robert Trent Jones Jr

Kananaskis Mount Lorette Course

The Kananaskis Mount Lorette Course is generally straighter than its sister Mount Kidd layout, affording the player a little more encouragement on tee shots!

It does, however, share the same stunning valley setting with limestone peaks as a backdrop. Water features include the same rivers and streams as on the Mount Kidd Course and lakes that border four of the holes.

Golf Digest Magazine voted Kananaskis as being one of the top 25 public courses in North America.

Stewart Creek

"The intent of the first tee was to place players up there and take their breath away." – Gary Browing

With lakes, elevation changes, mature forest and even some restored mine entrances offering a reminder of the area’s history, an average day on the fairways may never be so memorable!
