The Colony Club has two restaurants – its signature Laguna Restaurant specialising in continental and seafood fares, and the more intimate Orchid Room with an a la carte menu and extensive wine list – as well as two bars.

Standard Rooms with Garden/Pool or Ocean Views with balcony for breakfast or evening sunset. Accommodates up to 2 adults and one infant.

Luxury Poolside enveloped in lush and tropical surroundings with private access from each balcony or patio to the lagoon pool. Accommodates up to 2 adults and one infant.

Junior Suite: Feature a king size bed (or 2 twin beds) with a sitting area (with a sofa bed) and a spacious marble bathroom featuring a decadent sunken tub. This room category accommodates up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children

One Bedroom Suite: Feature a bedroom with a king size mahogany four poster bed and a separate living area complete with a pull out sofa. The marble bathrooms feature an oversized tub and exclusive Elemis spa amenities. Additionally, spacious balconies are adorned with privacy curtains and day beds promoting a leisurely and relaxing experience. Suites comfortably accommodate 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Room amenities as standard include cable TV, air conditioning, bath tub and shower, hairdryer, clock radio, mini fridge, tea and coffee facilities, iron and ironing board, bathrobes and in-room safe. Service includes twice daily maid service or turn down with Complimentary water nightly.

Colony Club has two restaurants and two bars:

The Laguna Restaurant, which enjoys a striking, open-air setting with superb views over the hotel’s tropical gardens, aquamarine pools and ocean beyond. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Orchid Room, an intimate restaurant with an a la carte menu and extensive wine list featuring local cuisine (Dinner only/children over 12 years).

The Sunset Bar, serving tropical concoctions, refreshing cocktails and light casual fare, this bar is located on the pool/beach deck and is conveniently also a swim-up bar.

The Planters Bar, an intimate cocktail lounge that opens each evening for pre-dinner drinks.

Leisure Facilities

Four lagoon style swimming pools meander through seven acres of tropical, palm-filled gardens. The colony Club also sports two floodlit tennis courts – hard court, an Exercise facility, Beauty Salon offering spa services.

For those who prefer more gentle pursuits, the Colony Club Guest Library is equipped with board games and with computer (complimentary internet access). Also available is Hotel Shopping, and a Weekly Manager’s Cocktail Party.

Complimentary non-motorized water sports including snorkeling, sailing, boogie boards, kayaking, windsurfing and water-skiing.

Ape's Hill Golf Club

A recent championship golf course addition to Barbados (opened 2009), Ape's Hill Club enjoys a prime location at almost 1000 feet above sea level on the West Coast. With lush grassland, coral stone quarries, wooded ravines and sparkling lakes, the course is very much in accord with its natural surroundings. Multiple tees, elevated to showcase the breathtaking west and east coast views, allow players of all capabilities equal opportunity for a satisfying game. As would be expected at a venue of such high aspirations, the course is maintained in immaculate condition. To quote the renowned publication Golf World: "Holes 11 to 14 provide an Amen Corner every bit as dramatic and invigorating as the one we all know in Georgia. These holes tiptoe over the brow of the island, disappear amongst jungle and rough coral outcrops, to provide the most sensational string of holes that can be found anywhere. It's that good!" With its superior service, Ape's Hill Club is establishing a new standard for excellence in the Caribbean. The golf course has also gained international recognition as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary for its environmental and wildlife preservation efforts, thus becoming one of only 2% of all golf courses to earn such certification. Although golf membership is reserved only for property owners at Ape's Hill Club, there are a limited amount of guest fees available for others to enjoy the course with preferential rates for guests at Crystal Cove, Tamarind and Colony Club through Ascot Golf. There are excellent practice facilities at Ape’s Hill, where high-quality practice balls stacked in pyramids, await your arrival on freshly cut lush paspalum grass. If you are travelling light, premium hire clubs and shoes are available upon request.

Sandy Lane - The Country Club

The Country Club course at Sandy Lane was designed by renowned US architect Tom Fazio and hosted golf’s World Cup in 2006. Fazio has made excellent use of the rolling terrain to fashion a course of lush greens, five lakes and open fairways with angled slopes. Spectacular sea views and colourful native vegetation make this an attractive course comprised of 5 par threes, 8 par fours, and 5 par fives.

Sandy Lane - The Old Nine

Par: 36 Length: 3345 yards

Sandy Lane’s Old Nine of small greens and tight fairways meanders attractively through the resort’s colourful estate. At 3,345 yards, par 36, the Old Nine with its tree-lined fairways, is intimate but a real challenge to the golfing visitor.

Royal Westmoreland Golf

Royal Westmoreland golf is set in a lush tropical landscape, consistently rated as one of the top courses in the Caribbean. With subtle greens, ocean views from every hole, inviting halfway house and an amusing audience of resident monkeys, this course is well placed among the world’s best. Your Royal Westmoreland golf experience is further enhanced by a pro shop, driving range, practice greens, clubhouse, short game academy, club hire, shoe hire and changing rooms. Complete your round in the imposing yet elegant colonial style clubhouse where sundowners are the order of the day! Royal Westmoreland is also the place for a few lessons to sharpen your game and shave a shot or two off your next round. Director of Golf is Roger Beale who represented Barbados in the 2006 World Cup of Golf. As Canadian club pro champion in 2011 and Barbados national golf team coach in 2012, Roger certainly knows how to take your game to the next level!
