The Treehouse

The Treehouse is Sandy Lane's children's activity and entertainment centre. Children 3-years and over are welcome to participate in The Treehouse's programme.

The Treehouse is open daily from 10am to 5pm and from 6pm to 8pm. Counselors plan daily themed activities which encourage children to express themselves through arts and crafts, drama, sports and games. Children may play tennis, create a work of art, go sailing or learn a new skill - and they will definitely make new friends!

Children under the age of 3 years can visit their own branch of the Tree House Club when accompanied by an adult (parent, nanny or babysitter). A selection of age-appropriate toys, puzzles and games is available for hours of fun out of the sun's rays.

The Den, located on the lower level of The Treehouse, is especially for teenagers. Teens can enjoy their own lounge with adjoining games room, featuring pool tables and foosball - not to mention popular electronic and board games, jukebox and computer stations. Two large screen televisions and DVD selections are available. Additional activities for teenagers include island tours, sports clinics, water sports and coastal cruises.

Sandy Lane - The Green Monkey

Designed by Tom Fazio, The Green Monkey has been carved out of a former quarry with elevation changes and spectacular views of the Caribbean. All around, exposed rock faces form dramatic contrasts with the lush, rolling greens and fairways. The course is named after the famous Bajan green monkey common on Barbados and even features a bunker with a grass island cut in the shape of one! Please note that The Green Monkey course is exclusive to guests staying at Sandy Lane. Tee-times are available daily from 8:30am to 9:30am.

Sandy Lane - The Country Club

Par: 72 Length: 7060 yards Course designer: Tom Fazio Venue: WGC - World Cup

The Country Club course at Sandy Lane was designed by renowned US architect Tom Fazio and hosted golf’s World Cup in 2006. Fazio has made excellent use of the rolling terrain to fashion a course of lush greens, five lakes and open fairways with angled slopes. Spectacular sea views and colourful native vegetation make this an attractive course comprised of 5 par threes, 8 par fours, and 5 par fives.

Sandy Lane - The Old Nine

Par: 36 Length: 3345 yards

Sandy Lane’s Old Nine of small greens and tight fairways meanders attractively through the resort’s colourful estate. At 3,345 yards, par 36, the Old Nine with its tree-lined fairways, is intimate but a real challenge to the golfing visitor.
