Barbados Golf Courses - Sandy Lane

The Country Club course at Sandy Lane was designed by renowned US architect Tom Fazio and hosted golf’s World Cup in 2006.

Fazio has made excellent use of the rolling terrain to fashion a course of lush greens, five lakes and open fairways with angled slopes. Spectacular sea views and colourful native vegetation make this an attractive course comprised of 5 par threes, 8 par fours, and 5 par fives.

Designed by Tom Fazio, The Green Monkey has been carved out of a former quarry with elevation changes and spectacular views of the Caribbean. All around, exposed rock faces form dramatic contrasts with the lush, rolling greens and fairways.

The course is named after the famous Bajan green monkey common on Barbados and even features a bunker with a grass island cut in the shape of one!

Please note that The Green Monkey course is exclusive to guests staying at Sandy Lane. Tee-times are available daily from 8:30am to 9:30am.

Sandy Lane’s Old Nine of small greens and tight fairways meanders attractively through the resort’s colourful estate.

At 3,345 yards, par 36, the Old Nine with its tree-lined fairways, is intimate but a real challenge to the golfing visitor.
